A number of Christchurch's public, member, artist-run and experimental gallery spaces are involved in the SCAPE Biennial 04, through the curation of specific component exhibitions that fit the leading Biennial themes. This new component promises to extend our programme and give the SCAPE Biennial 04 a real impact within the city. The following exhibition programmes have been developed with our SCAPE Biennial 04 partner galleries.

The Physics Room Gallery will present two exhibitions. Natalie Robertson (New Zealand) entitled, Cuz and Dr. Don: or how I learned to stop worrying and love Helen by Scott Flanagan (New Zealand).

Centre of Contemporary Art (CoCA) will present a soft sculptural installation, The Peacock Fountain: No. 38 in Mair Gallery, Peacock Fountain by Victoria Bell.

High Street Project (HSP) Gallery will present &: Ampersand as a satellite project – a ten-year anniversary show to include a number of high profile New Zealand artists that have been involved with the HSP. The gallery will also feature, Adrian Göllner’s site specific U-Build project.

The School of Fine Arts (SOFA) Gallery present a selection of 16mm films by Rosalind Nashashibi (winner of the 2003 Beck's Futures prize).
